Don’t Let the Hormuz Crisis Anchor Your Yacht.
The Strait of Hormuz is closed. The Gulf of Aden is a war-risk corridor. The overland land-bridge through Saudi Arabia is the established safe route between the Gulf and the Mediterranean — and we run it.
Why the Overland Route Is the Only Sensible Option
The Strait of Hormuz is non-navigable for private yachts. The Gulf of Aden is under active Houthi missile threat. Somali piracy on the Horn of Africa remains permanently in force. These are not temporary conditions — this is the permanent maritime threat picture for any vessel moving between the Gulf and the Mediterranean.

The Two-Stage Land-Bridge Route
Stage 1: Gulf Marina → Jeddah, Red Sea
We partner with the GCC’s most reliable heavy-haulage specialists to load your yacht onto a specialized truck.
• Departure points: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Kuwait City, Muscat and Duqm (Oman)
• Route: From your marina to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
• Capacity: Up to 15m length, 5.8m width, and 4.8m height. Bigger yachts soon!
• Logistics: We handle the coordination, ensuring your vessel is secured for the desert crossing.
• Border permits, police escorts and GPS tracking included.
Stage 2: Jeddah → Mediterranean
Once your boat is discharged in the Red Sea, our veteran captains and crew take over for the final leg.
• Service: Full yacht delivery to the Mediterranean.
• Expertise: Our skippers hold RYA Yachtmaster Ocean with commercial endorsement.
• Peace of Mind: Real-time tracking and written handover reports included.
• Two options: skipper delivery (RYA Yachtmaster Ocean, recommended) or cargo shipping from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Most owners choose skipper delivery — faster and delivers the boat in sailing condition.
Why This Is a Permanent Route, Not a Crisis Fix
The Hormuz closure, Houthi operations in the Gulf of Aden and Somali piracy are all long-term conditions with no resolution in sight. The overland land-bridge is the established routing for Gulf-to-Mediterranean passages — not a workaround, but the correct passage plan.
End-to-End Management
One contract from cradle to dock. We coordinate haulage contractors, boatyard work, canal transit and crew logistics. No handoffs left unmanaged.
RYA Qualified Captains
All delivery skippers hold RYA Yachtmaster certificates with commercial endorsement. Written handover report on arrival at your destination port.
Conflict Zone Awareness
We monitor geopolitical risk, insurance corridors and weather windows before committing to any passage. We route around problems — that is what this service is.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you handle mast removal?
Yes, we coordinate with local boatyards for disassembly and reassembly. This is part of our comprehensive service to ensure your yacht is ready for transport.
Is my boat insured during the truck leg?
We ensure all our transport partners carry comprehensive CMR and transit insurance. Full details will be provided with your quotation.
How long does the land transport take?
Typically 3-5 days from the UAE/Kuwait to Jeddah, depending on customs and specific logistics. We provide real-time tracking throughout the journey.
Who handles the boat between the truck leg and the sea leg?
The haulage contractor delivers your boat to the Jeddah boatyard. Our delivery captain conducts a formal handover inspection before launch. Nothing leaves the yard without sign-off on both sides.
Should I choose skipper delivery or cargo shipping from Jeddah?
For most owners, skipper delivery is faster, cheaper and delivers the boat in sailing condition. Cargo shipping makes sense if the vessel is not in commission or you prefer not to have crew aboard.
What if my boat exceeds the dimension limits?
Contact us with your full dimensions. Vessels outside standard parameters may require wide-load permits and specialist transport equipment. We will confirm feasibility before you commit to anything.
