Land Transport: Gulf Marina → Jeddah, Red Sea

We work with GCC-based heavy-haulage specialists. Your yacht is cradle-mounted, secured and transported across Saudi Arabia to a Red Sea port for launch.We coordinate at both ends: marina lift-out in the Gulf and boatyard launch in Jeddah. Mast removal and re-stepping arranged where required. Written handover at each transfer point.Departures from Kuwait, UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah) and Oman (Muscat, Salalah).

Once your boat is launched in Jeddah, our captain and crew take command for the full offshore delivery to the Mediterranean. The passage covers the Red Sea, Suez Canal transit and onward to your chosen port.All delivery captains hold RYA Yachtmaster Ocean with commercial endorsement. Position updates throughout. Do you handle mast removal and re-stepping?
Yes. We coordinate with GCC boatyards for disassembly before the truck leg and re-stepping on arrival in Jeddah or at a Mediterranean port depending on your preference. Mast removal costs are additional and quoted separately.
Is the boat insured during land transport?
All land transport partners we use carry CMR freight insurance and comprehensive transit coverage. We confirm policy details before signing off on any load. Your standard marine policy may also extend to hauled storage — check with your underwriter.
How long does the land transport take?
Typically 3–5 days from the UAE or Kuwait to Jeddah. Saudi customs processing is included in that estimate. Oman departures (Muscat or Salalah) may add 1–2 days depending on the border crossing used.
Who handles the boat between the truck leg and the sea leg?
The haulage contractor delivers your boat to the Jeddah boatyard. Our delivery captain conducts a formal handover inspection before launch. Nothing leaves the yard without sign-off on both sides.
What if my boat is over the dimension limits?
Contact us with your full dimensions. Vessels outside standard parameters may require wide-load permits and specialist transport equipment. We will advise on feasibility and accurate cost before you commit to anything.
Can I use this service for a motor yacht?
Yes, provided the vessel is within the dimension and weight limits for road transport. Motor yachts without masts simplify the land leg considerably. The sea delivery service covers sail and motor yachts equally.
